Having faith

I was listening to a sermon by the renowned American preacher Creflo Dollar on faith this morning and I had asked myself this question about the Faaith Abraham had in God by offering to sacrifice his only Son Isaac to God and I had wondered and asked myself,

"If i were in the times of Abraham, would I have had that faith he had"

Looking at this from my perspective, the Bible says in Hebrew 11:1:that

"faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen"

Meaning that faith is believing and trusting to God in something that you can't see, don't have, or want with no negative thoughts of not getting it from him. This is were the thought struck me,

"Would I have said no to God unlike Abraham after hearing his voice and seeing his physical manifestation"

As much as I try these days to be Obedient to God in this our current changed world, which is a hard thing, I know we would all say yes to the question that we would believe in God if He can come to us and manifest his presence by telling us to our face, Rise up and go do something for me, just like our Mum and Dad would command us, wouldn't you? This is just something I am pondering on and I know you all would agree, But then, come to think of it,

"Did they still believe in God at that time"?, Did the people in the old testament beleive? Did Lot's Wife believe (or she would'nt have looked back) ? Did the people in Noah's time believe? Or even the direct decendants of Abraham?

I don't know why i am writing this right now, But I do know that there are manifestations all around us, In our lifes, in the lifes of people around us, In the blind seeing, crippled walking, sick healed (which can also be done by any good magician or non-Christian that has understood the powers of other entitties and universal laws that are not of God's).

But I still question him, I still ask why it cant just be given to us without believing, but those are just the questions of the human part of us, The part that still clings to that unbelief, even when I have had it "Faith" and I had seen it come to reality in my life.

Is it neccessary to question God or Just believe that he is going to bring everything we hope for to reality.

Its just a thought and your comments are well-welcomed to make us understand these things. Our everyday life is a miracle, I wonder why I was born into a loving family while they are people living in war zones, hunger and strife, little Kids sleeping in market stores and begging for food, people living with illnesses that wish they could just die but can't, thousands dying from little things that we never put into consideration.

Is that manifestation enough for us, Just the manifestation that our life is a miracle, that waking up and opening your refridgrator and seeing a glass of cold water is a miracle. That the Tsunami or earthquake didn't happen in the city you live in. I just pray for the understanding and nothing more just like Solomon did ( I believe he was very happy too, because he had the wisdom to understand what this life was about)

Have a nice day peeps, Your comments would help to enlighten this soul, I am never going to stop having faith in my God for my life, I visualize it and see it turning the way i want. Visualize yours too.
